JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented Sr. Full Stack Developer to join our Application Development Team on an IT operations project supporting a federal agency. The candidate will provide applications and tools development support for a large enterprise.
The ideal candidate will bring experience in multiple development technologies and methodologies as well as strong process transformation skills to enhance the team’s capabilities. Relevant experience for this role may include any or all of the following: software development, cloud engineering, management consulting, implementing software code, and debugging technical issues. Ability to research, test, build, and coordinate integration per government requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
- Design, develop, and deploy robust full stack solutions in a virtualized environment
- Build user-friendly web applications using modern frameworks and libraries.
- Collaborate with program and technical staff in all aspects of daily work
- Engage fully in the implementation of Agile practices to support IT development.
- Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure the quality and functionality of applications.
- Provide technical support and maintenance for existing applications and tools
- Optimize application performance and scalability
Required Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
- 5-8 years of experience in full stack development, including front-end and back-end technologies
- 3-5 years of experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
- 3-5 years of experience with back-end development using Node.js, Java, Python, or similar languages
- 3-5 years of experience with relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle
- 3-5 years of experience with version control systems like Git and collaboration tools like GitHub or Bitbucket
- 3-5 years of experience in developing RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript for front-end development
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and ITIL processes
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and debug applications
- Some experience in AWS, AZURE, Google Cloud Services, and other Cloud environments
- Familiarity with Agile, DevOps practices and ITIL processes
Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills
- US Citizen with DHS Public Trust suitability clearance/EOD
- Experience with any DHS agencies or entities

- Candidate must be an US citizen, and able to obtain DHS Public Trust clearance and USCIS EOD to start work
